Fernando de Felipe (Zaragoza, 1965)

Spanish comics experienced a golden age during the 80’s and early 90’s. In these boom times, Fernando de Felipe carved out a niche for himself in this competitive publishing market and in the hearts of a whole generation of fans.

 

Graphic novel artist, cinema and television scriptwriter, director, university professor - the multi-faceted De Felipe was noted for his attractive style in the pages of several specialist magazines, work that earned him the award for the best work by a Spanish author published in Spain at the 1995 Barcelona International Comic Fair, and the special award at the 3rd Edition of the Tran Awards for Aragonese Comics in 2017.
