The tale of a bourgeois family's decline detailing their horrific fall into despair during the Spanish transition.

Graphically, Enric Sió used an experimental technique that was totally revolutionary for its time, playing with his hyper-realistic style, photographing every single shot first, but also using a framing style that contributes to the sinuous tone of the story, which, despite its surreal elements, is still firmly anchored to the reality of its time.
