In 1990, the magazine Zona 84 published a new series from the pens of Jaime Vane and Fernando De Felipe: S.O.U.L.  The title, an acronym for Search Organization of Unknown Limits, alludes to a mysterious company based in New Reading, Arizona (USA) that hires Vyvyan Kayman as a research assistant. So begins a disturbing story, a combination of science fiction and social commentary that, with the passage of time, has turned out to be as prophetic as it is dystopian.

Key Points:

• A story combining science fiction and social commentary which, due to  the themes addressed (racism, the struggle for civil rights, victims of scientific experiments) and the way in which it is done, went from being considered dystopian in 1990, when it was originally published, to revealing itself as almost prophetic

• The death of the singer Prince and The Million Man March are just two of the events imagined by the authors and woven into the plot of ADN decades before they actually happened
